One month in…! Where y’at?
January 27th, 2012Hey there world! Welcome to my blog. Oh how is life? lemmietellya. INTENSE. Writing Snowbird is easily the best and hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m doing well… within the week the SNOWBIRD site will launch! Not to mention that writing this book feels GREAT. But if you’d like to know how it feels… I drew a picture to explain.

December 15th, 2011So, today I’m just…. you know… BROWSING on kickstarter. No reason really. Maybe I’m checking out some projects. And what do I see, computer? WHAT DO I SEE???? A-HA! SOMEBODY\ IS ON THE FRONT PAGE.

And so, to deal with all the FEELINGS I felt about the whole thing, I embroidered something onto my FEELINGS sweater. (a sweater that I embroider on when I have feelings.) Check out what I just stitched onto the hood!
BUT I DONT’ KNOW IF I CAN BECAUSE MY KICKSTARTER IS AT 49% AND I STILL HAVE MORE THAN TWO WEEKS LEFT! YEEEEE!!
Feelings
December 12th, 2011So I’m on the road for the next ten days at a retreat in Virginia with about 15 of my favorite people in the world, the Beehive Design Collective. These folks are like family to me, so it’s super nice to get to spend some time with them. But while I was here my KICKSTARTER has been charging ahead without me!
We just got the internet fixed and I saw that a lot has happened while I was AFK. DID YOU KNOW I HAVE 101 BACKERS ON MY KICKSTARTER? WOAH!! It’s only been FOUR days! I feel so supported by the internet. <3 <3 <3 And I’m almost at 3,000 dollars! So close to the halfway marker, and we’re not even a week into the project! I wonder what will happen next!
So, my KICKSTARTER is making me feel a LOT of feelings. Here are some of them. I’m having a hard time drawing on my laptop (the mouse is weird!) but I thought I’d throw something together to say thank you while I’m on the road. I’ll make you something more squishy and polished when I get home.
I wonder how many other feelings I will feel this month. Don’t worry, I’ll be sure to let you know.

December 7th, 2011HOLY MOLY YOU GUYS! My kickstarter is launched! CHECK IT OUT! I’m writing a graphic novel called SNOWBIRD and I’m trying to get myself funded to write it for four months and then print it! You can read the first 5 pages on the main page of my website ERROAR.COM! Check out my video! I worked super hard on it, and there are some hilarious bloopers at the end!
