Erin Wilson is an artist/illustrator/designer/scenic artist/wizard who lives in New Orleans, LA. Her greatest inspiration as a young artist was Sailor Moon, pokemon, and in general all mid-nineties anime. Erin is doing her best to survive in life doing the things that she loves, although she is also a really good barista when she needs to be.
Erin graduated from Florida State University in 2008 with a double-major in theatre and art. She developed her skills as a scenic artist at Berkeley Reperatory theater, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and various scenic studios in Brooklyn, NY. After moving to New Orleans, Erin spent time as an artist’s assistant to Jackie Sumell, participating in both the Herman’s House and A=AGHT projects. Animating in her free time, Erin won the audience choice award for Best Short Film in the 2009 New Orleans PATOIS Human Rights Film Festival. On a journey for adventure, Erin spent two years as a full-time collective member of the Beehive Design Collective, where she honed her skills as a public speaker, illustrator, web editor, and political mover and shaker.
Erin is available for illustration, graphic design, comic books, animation, and anything she can do to use her creativity to make her way in the world.
