SNOWBIRD page 15

Hey friends!!! Did you know that SNOWBIRD is well on it’s way? That’s right, I’m busting ass as hard as I can on this comic book. It’s available for viewing currently at SNOWBIRDCOMIC.COM . I upload a page every Monday, Wed, and Fri. My ultimate goal? I want to be done in time for the Small Press Expo and the Alternative Press Expo! Keep your fingers crossed for me! Hopefully by the end of the month I’ll have moved in to a new studio with my good friends Marin and Ben.

Things are going swimmingly! Check out this panel from page 15 …

One month in…! Where y’at?

Hey there world! Welcome to my blog. Oh how is life? lemmietellya. INTENSE. Writing Snowbird is easily the best and hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m doing well… within the week the SNOWBIRD site will launch! Not to mention that writing this book feels GREAT. But if you’d like to know how it feels… I drew a picture to explain.

Barfing Rainbows.

Hey friends! So, sorry for the days of radio silence during my kickstarter honeymoon preiod. After I got my kickstarter funding, my brain officially broke. I really, actually, kind of… could not believe it. Check it out! I made some comics about it.

What inspired you to transform the real life experiences you had in New Orleans into comic form?  Was there one notable experience, or have you always recorded your life in a diary-comic-book style?

Were there any particular experiences that were difficult to turn into comic book panels? What was it like working it out?

Do your friends ever have funny reactions to seeing their graphic novel selves?

What do you hope people will take away from reading your story?

What has it been like running a Kickstarter project? Any notable experiences with backers? Or surprises?

What is your New Years resolution?
